Job Description:
ECS is currently searching for a full-time Policy Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role contributes to improving the VA employees and Veteran's lives and working towards a larger mission.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has launched the VA Logistics Redesign (VALOR) program to transition VA from its legacy core supply chain system to a modernized cloud-based supply chain system. VA selected the Defense medical logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), along with its technical refresh, LogiCole, for its logistics and support services management system. The VALOR Program management Office (PMO) is leading the DMLSS/LogiCole implementation enterprise-wide starting with VA medical centers (VAMC).

Required Skills:
- BA or BS
- 3-5 years of work experience in developing, updating and routing government policy for approval
- Strong analytical skills with ability to define, collect, and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make logical decisions
- Strong computer skills with a proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products with an emphasis on Word
- Experience developing guidance documents and distilling technical information for various audiences
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Excellent teamwork
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Desired Skills:
- J.D. or Master's degree
- Federal Healthcare consulting, legal, risk management, or technical writing/editing experience
- Experience in logistics or supply chain
