Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Use financial programs and business intelligence tools to synthesize data into easy-to-understand dashboards used for reporting various metrics and key performance indicators to managers and department leadership
- Interpret metrics to identify and investigate variances
- Collaborate with department leaders on monthly metrics
- Identify and implement cost savings measures
- Lead high volumes of metric activity in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Primary person for maintenance of existing SharePoint sites and development of new SharePoint needs
- Primary person for creation and maintenance of Power BI Dashboards
- Collect data and design reports for daily reporting of operational performance
- Develop workflows to help automate simple repetitive tasks
- Ad hoc report building for outside areas
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business or related field preferred OR a significant amount of directly-related work experience beyond the minimum required for the position
- Demonstrated ability/knowledge in data analysis, reporting, or application development
- Expertise in one or more development or analytical tools such as MS Excel, SQL, SAS, SPSS or other tool
- Expertise in one or more data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience crafting and maintaining SharePoint sites
- Experience crafting and maintaining Power BI Dashboards
- Ability to deliver results and recommendations in written, verbal and presentation form for non-technical audiences
- Ability to handle and prioritize concurrent assignments, meet tight deadlines, and handle ambiguity
- Proven proficiency and desire for learning new platforms, development, and presentation tools
- High degree of initiative and motivation
- Seen as a phenomenal teammate and is encouraging of group decisions and ideas
