As a Barclays Ops Rigour Senior Analyst, you will help us create a powerful cards and payments platform for the future, aligned to support strategic business objectives across UK, US and Germany. You will be responsible for test execution which evaluates regulatory and operational effectiveness of business critical processes and controls. You will assist with the build, implementation and execution of assurance testing to continue transforming all customer processes and interactions.

What will you be doing?• Effectively communicating with various levels of management across operations to help streamline processes and address concerns timely• Escalating issues in a timely manner to senior managers• Identifying control or process gaps and to recommend possible solutions• Acting as designated liaison with business stakeholders on assurance results details and business requirement clarifications• Assisting with the UAT of new assurance before deployment into production environment• Approaching assurance build and socialization in a tactical and strategic manner, applying a logical thought process every day with attention to detail• Reviewing work of peers and providing constructive feedback• Managing monthly workload and meeting deadlines
What we're looking for:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience• Experience working in banking/credit card operations and/or a control role (2+ years)• Experience of navigating TSYS (2+ years)• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PPT and other Office products (2+ years)
Skills that will help you in the role:• Ability to code assurance requirements/test scripts using SAS, SQL• Understand user requirement and involvement in design discussions• Proven subject knowledge of risk and control processes across USCB or similar financial institution• Excellent understanding of U.S. regulatory environment and requirements
