Join our industry-leading, growing company in Bloomington, MN in this entry to mid level Supply Chain/Operations Analyst position! This role has the ability to make an impact, be part of a dynamic team and build relationships with our highly visible supply chain and distribution teams.

Major Function:

Support business leaders in reducing costs and improving productivity while adhering to quality and safety standards.Achieve results by conducting extensive analysis of the business operations through BI development and reporting metrics that drive key business decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting & Data Analytics:
    • Utilize Toro's BI tools to develop and analyze data for operational and financial reporting.
    • Create dashboards to be reported to executives and frontline leaders that help translate data into a story and how it impacts decisions and results.
    • Ad-hoc data pulls and analysis, automate reporting for corporate audiences, and develop data strategies for team use.
  • Industry Knowledge and Best Practices:
    • Understand and translate data analytics industry standards, best practices and present key findings and recommendations as how to improve performance.
    • Be a subject matter expert in data analytics to make recommendations to the business and respectfully challenge organizational norms.
  • Efficiencies:
    • Drive efficiencies by developing systematic and repeatable reporting using QlikView, Excel, Power BI and other tools .
    • Assist with system related documentation to aid user training.
    • Maintain repository of templates, training materials, and reporting options.
    • Provide primary point of coordination and communication between IS and operations internal customers.
    • Participate with the business units in Lean activities.
    • All other tasks and projects as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required - degree focus in business, computer science, supply chain management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of zero to two (0-2) years related/equivalent work experience
  • Proficient using or ability to learn Business Intelligence tools such as Qlikview, Power BI, MSBI, Excel
  • Experience as a BI Developer, Business Analyst or knowledge of SAP MM, SD, PP Modules preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including strong keyboarding skills
  • Ability to break down complex ideas and issues and communicate in simple terms to different levels of the organization
  • Highly self-motivated, ability to work under pressure, manage and prioritize multiple objectives/projects concurrently, attend to details, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to work independently as well as within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • 0 to 20% travel (domestic and international)


Job Dimensions:

Critical thinker to support Operations with the data needs to enhance operations. Works independently as well as on teams, makes recommendations, and receives a minimal level of supervision. Sits at our company global HQ in Bloomington, MN. Some travel to production and distribution facilities is required.
