Our platform serves multiple constituents, including paying customers, contractors engaged in our competitive gig-economy marketplace, and our operations team who keeps things running smoothly 24x7.  We collect millions of data points across these functions.  In this role, you will help us find signal in this data, transforming it into information, knowledge and insights  that will drive impactful change.

As an Operations Analyst, you’ll be using these data resources to unlock key insights to help us solve critical business questions.  You’ll play a key role in shaping how data is sourced and how it is made available and actionable for internal stakeholders.  You will be the subject matter expert on connecting these data and analytics to business and operational needs. 

You should be naturally curious and passionate about solving problems and answering questions based on data, using pipelines and tools developed by you in close collaboration with engineers.  And, since 3Play moves fast, you will be someone who thrives in such an environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Create tools and processes for transforming, organizing and presenting data, analysis and insights to stakeholders.
• Present insights to stakeholders, supported by clear, compelling data visualizations.
• Work closely with stakeholders, and across teams, to prioritize their analytical needs in accordance with business needs.
• Be a subject matter expert on 3Play’s operational processes and how these manifest in the dynamics of our contractor onboarding funnel, marketplace, and throughput.

Position Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a Data Analytics or related role 
• Expert SQL skills
• Skilled at shaping operational data for presentation to stakeholders for analytics and visualization use cases
• Experience in Looker, Tableau or related data visualization platform.
• Able to work with product and stakeholders to prioritize short-term tasks and longer-term projects
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with an emphasis on presenting data visualizations
• Training and/or experience in Operations Research a strong plus
