The Research and Insights team plays a pivotal role in this mission by helping our product, marketing, business development and strategy teams with the business-critical research they need to grow our ever-evolving product and market opportunity.

We are looking for a passionate Market Research Manager to join the Credit Karma Market Research team. This role is perfect for someone looking to continue to develop professionally in a fast-paced and high-growth environment with constantly evolving business challenges.

You’ll be part of an incredible organization of smart and savvy researchers interested in examining the role of financial products and services in the lives of our current and future members.  We’re seeking someone who gets excited to explore, understand and solve real consumer financial problems - that’s what we’re in the business of here at Credit Karma!

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct end-to-end custom quantitative research studies across multiple functions and verticals 
  • Own and execute brand tracking research for one of Credit Karma’s verticals
  • Writing surveys, translating data, survey results, and qualitative research findings into digestible reports and presentations
  • Help with organizational, administrative, and project management duties
  • Data manipulation and statistical analysis
  • Gather intelligence from first- and third-party information sources

Minimum Basic Requirement:

  • BA/BS degree with an emphasis on survey/research methods (i.e., economics, statistics, psychology, or similar business or liberal arts program)
  •  0-1 years of market research, management consulting, or relevant experience
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities with analytical mindset, attention to detail, and passion for uncovering insights
  • Must demonstrate intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn and develop quickly

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Excel, SPSS, and/or R experience a plus, but not required 
  •  Experience with survey platforms such as Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, Google Consumer Surveys, etc.
  • General knowledge or interest about the financial markets and the credit industry in particular a strong plus
  • Experience working on both the agency and client side in a market research capacity
