Macquarie Asset Management Public Investments is looking for a Business Strategy Associate to work closely with the Chief of Staff and Business Manager. This position is based in the Philadelphia, PA office.
You will be a key member of the Business Management team and will be responsible for supporting both the Chief of Staff and Business Manager on all strategic planning and firmwide initiatives. Your responsibilities will including monitoring execution and progress with Macquarie Public Investments' strategic goals and business priorities. You will contribute to key projects that support the strategy, corporate development (e.g., M&A) and other high-level strategic initiatives. You will partner with internal communication teams on stakeholder engagement and content generation. You will be responsible for presentations for staff meetings, town halls, webinars, and various conferences and leadership forums. You will partner with Human Resources team to develop, promote, and identify opportunities around culture, wellness and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
To be considered for this role, you will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable with project management, and be comfortable with influencing senior management across the business. You'll possess an execution-mindset and be familiar with a collaborative work style. You'll be a multi-tasker, with the ability to remain empathetic and flexible across different working styles and cultures. You will have intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills and will be a master within PowerPoint design and building presentations. You will also bring, ideally, prior management consulting experience, business management experience, strategic planning and/or internal consulting experience.
