Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an individual experienced in mission performance and data analytics to join the team of IBMers currently supporting the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) in assessing the performance of the DHS Intelligence Enterprise.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • US Citizen with TS//SCI clearance
  • 5+ years of management consulting and/or strategic analysis experience, working with senior clients/leadership
  • Experience with intelligence production, intelligence operations, and/or intelligence management functions
  • Must demonstrate broad quantitative analysis skills related to intelligence information
  • Experience with the acquisition, processing, storage, retrieval, and analysis of intelligence reports and products
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, to include using formulas, pivot tables, and charts
  • Understanding of Python, SQL and/or R
  • Must possess the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy in both oral and written modes
  • Must be able to work effectively under time constraints and potentially changing priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative, team environment
  • Bachelors degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Data Science, Operations Research, Management Science, or related field.



Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Prior DHS Suitability
  • Intelligence community / homeland security experience and understanding of intelligence and/or homeland security mission and community participants; knowledge of IC / HS processes and products relevant to DHS and its partners, such as Homeland Security Intelligence Needs and Collection Strategies
  • Programming skills in Javascript, Python, SQL/NoSQL in a Windows desktop operating environment
  • Advanced degree in a related discipline
  • Expertise in Human Resource and/or Financial management data
