Position Summary
The Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager is responsible for selecting the appropriate reporting and data visualization methodology, reporting, and analytics to meet a defined business objectives. They will analyze the collected data, author reports and makes business oriented recommendations in support of the Enterprise growth requirements.

  • Lead the standardization, delivery and support of corporate analytics and metrics.
  • Provide recommendations to divisions and sales companies on how to develop business intelligence competencies locally and assist them with data interpretation and insight.
  • Provide training, workshops, and support tools with the goal of providing each location with the competency to analyze and interpret their performance enabling them to make their own actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Review enterprise wide data and provide insight and recommendations on systematic customer experience opportunities for improvement and best practice sharing across customer journey touch points.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the premier customer experience goal through keeping current on industry trends and identifying best practices for business intelligence usage and delivery.
  • Develop standard work and process recommendations for data analysis and review, working with IT.
  • Develop all required documentation to support Business Intelligence & Analytics programs and services.
  • Assist sales and distribution teams in the selection of the appropriate intelligence and analysis for effective sales management.
  • Manage the development of staff, and respective reporting activities that will assist in making key business decisions and achieving growth and customer experience goals.
  • Define and lead the deployment of the business intelligence and analytics capability at the country level to drive local competency for local decision making.
  • Manage the business intelligence process component of the Business Intelligence & Analytics development process including process training, tool development, and stakeholder support.
  • Lead projects in specific situations where there is a significant need and opportunity for Parker.
  • Management of complex global projects across multiple technologies.
    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics or social sciences. Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of business intelligence experience
  • Project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills; capable of performing and interpreting statistical data analysis
  • Creative; able to apply inductive and deductive reasoning to address business issues
  • Strong project management analytical skills; capable of performing and interpreting statistical data analysis
  • Solid understanding of statistics, research techniques, scientific method and can direct and interpret the studies/data for management
  • Demonstrated success with implementing procedures related to research and intelligence work
  • Experience with training and development of others in essential function areas
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS)
  • Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form. Has proven project management skills & leadership experience.
