Job Description

This position will be responsible for sourcing data from various new and legacy systems and aggregating this data into meaningful outputs for metric reporting purposes. Candidates should have a passion for quality and data accuracy and experience collaborating with stakeholders from all levels of the organization. Candidates will continually work to expand upon and improve the efficiency and accuracy of all metrics reporting process and procedures to help implement new strategies as needed to improve the organization's operational processes.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Data mining & data analytics experience
  • Working Knowledge of Data Base programs (Oracle, SQL, Power BI)
  • IT PMO knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, technology, finance, statistics, business, or equivalent experience required



Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated proficiency at mining & consolidating data from numerous sources to create presentations for all levels of management and other stakeholders
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
  • Data mining expertise
  • Strong working knowledge of database structures and associated reporting platforms
  • Significant experience working with Excel, SQL, XML, and other tools related to queries and data management
  • Experience working with Tableau, Cognos and other BI tools preferred
  • Experience with coding in SQL and Python
  • Experience with cleaning, manipulating, analyzing, and visualizing data
  • Experience working with ServiceNow or other CRM/Service Management platform is preferred
  • Experience working with Azure Dev Ops, JIRA, Rally or other Project Management platform is preferred
  • Working knowledge of ITSM and Waterfall/Agile project methodologies
  • Must have strong relationship building, influencing and consultation skills and be able to establish and maintain positive work relationships with peers, management, key stakeholders and clients
  • Ability to lead structured meetings and deliver messages to management
  • Strong analytical problem solving, priority setting, facilitation, and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and lead through influence to accomplish challenging goals & objectives
  • Working knowledge of agile project management concepts
  • Working knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills applicable to a wide audience including senior and executive management, customers, etc., including diction/terminology and presenting information in a concise and effective manner to clients, management, and various departments using assorted communication mediums
  • Highly adaptable to changing needs within the organization - adapts to rapidly changing priorities
  • Excellent understanding of document control, update processes and tools
  • Experience using MS Office and MS Visio



Accountabilities:

  • Retrieves and consolidates quantitative data from multiple sources
  • Codes components for data extraction and data analysis
  • Create and maintain data visualization capabilities
  • Create and maintain dashboards for Software Development, Operations and Executive Leadership leveraging current enterprise reporting visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Promote and implement the automation of repetitive tasks
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) on the data used in the dashboard to verify the integrity of the metrics
  • Respond to internal queries regarding data contained in reports
  • Troubleshoot issues with reports and partner with relevant teams to resolve data and technical issues
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests by reviewing the data requests to identify and understand the information needed, pulling the data efficiently from data sources across multiple platforms and providing data back to the requestor in a user-friendly display
  • Check data and reports for accuracy with extreme attention to detail
  • Identifies existing and future business challenges, collects, and interprets data and develops predictive models to form hypotheses and present recommendations
  • Provide ongoing support and enhancement of ITSM and Project Metrics by driving alignment with Industry standards and best practices
  • Analyze data flows and usage to identify cross-departmental commonalities and opportunities for better alignment
  • Act as owner of public display of metrics/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and data management
  • Prepare presentations for senior-management that appropriately communicates data-driven results to executives
  • Actively participate in the LN Delivery Manager community, sharing and re-applying skills and knowledge and bringing in best practice
