The Segment team focuses on the Merchant Solutions and Banking Solutions businesses.  Our team is transforming to become a truly data-driven organization and this role is a crucial piece of that transformation. What you will be doing:

Expert career, individual contributor role. The role of the marketing data analyst is to craft, review and provide guidance on how to best utilize data to inform our go-to-market efforts. This person will need to create dashboards and analyze existing dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI that enable our marketing teams to gain valuable insight into what tactical elements are driving the most engagement and leads for the Merchant and Banking business at FIS. You will work with the central Data and Insights team to gain access to data, you will work with the Marketing team to understand the campaigns and tactics we employ and you will work with the sales and line-of-business teams to determine the impact of our efforts on driving pipeline and opportunity.

Marketing Analyst Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions.
  • Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports.
  • Analyzes external and internal customer data using database queries (SQL, Access), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools (Adobe / Omniture), statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools.
  • Evaluates customers’ online behavior and provide insights and recommendations for further enhancements to the guest experience.
  • Analyzes A/B and Multi-variate tests, communicate results and provide recommendations.
  • Creates PowerPoint presentations to provide market and consumer insights to other marketing and sales departments.
  • Advises other marketing functions (e-commerce/website, online/offline advertising, brand, product development) as the knowledge owner for customer and market data.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or graduate degree
  • 5+ years of work experience in marketing research, statistical or data analysis (or academic equivalent)
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen
  • Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness
  • Experience building and automating management level reporting
  • Mastery of the following analytical tools: modeling and reporting in Excel/Access and SQL
  • Experience working with Marketo, MSFT Dynamics, Salesforce and Tableau are a must
  • Experience in statistical analysis (SAS or R)
