About the Team
The Marketing Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting marketing activities by reporting performance of campaigns, retail compliance, analyzing ROI, reviewing market trends, and delivering insights to improve future strategies. This team member will work directly with the Sales and Marketing Teams to understand the needs of each vertical and work cross-functionally to help plan and execute activities. They will be responsible for reporting results from each campaign and retail projects/audits and creating dashboards to share data with the teams. Additionally, this team member will report their findings to internal and external stakeholders, including VIZIO's Executive Team, so high attention to details, efficient communication, and strong presentation skills are essential to succeed in the role.
What You Will Do

  • The Marketing Data Analyst will be responsible for managing the data analytics of all marketing campaigns by reporting on results and identifying opportunities for growth and performance optimization
  • Contribute to the business marketing strategy by combining creative problem-solving with analytics rigor and diverse measurement tactics to drive actionable insights
  • Work with Merchandising and Marketing teams to understand their objectives, product requirements, constraints, and key metrics
  • Create deep dive reports on digital partners based on post-campaign performance to aid in future campaign decision making
  • Design and track metrics on external and internal data, ensuring the continuous improvement of outcomes through an iterative process and test-and-learn strategies
  • Helping drive automation and reporting solutions via collaboration with Business Manager, Merchandising, Marketing and Device Data Analytics Team
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately gathering our performance data from multiple platforms (Internal / 3PL) and developing clear dashboards which will drive high quality data integration processes and improve campaign efficiency and effectiveness
  • Proactively develop actionable recommendations and reporting for key internal stakeholders on latest technology trends and pricing/promotion activity to drive business
  • Collaborating with the Data Analytics team to improve our data ecosystem and developing efficient ways for non-technical stakeholders to access and work with large data sets
  • Collaborate with Analytics teams to develop understanding of market and consumer behavior with the aim of developing predictive models that help sales/marketing drive growth and mitigate risk
  • Other tasks as assigned


About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Marketing, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Experience manipulating datasets (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, or ETL tools)
  • Expertise with PowerPoint, Excel, Tableau.
  • Experience with data modeling, data visualization, and building dashboards
  • Strong communicator; able to collaborate and maintain relationships with partners on both business teams and technical teams
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently, thrive in a fast-paced, always-changing environment
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to synthesize information across a broad ecosystem to diagnose problems and devise solutions
  • Experience with A/B Testing, ROAS, SOV, Funnel analysis, etc.

For California-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $ 119,000 /year. The maximum salary for this position $ 161,000 / year. The compensation package includes the annual bonus in addition to a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
