Marketing Automation Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Automation Coordinator will play an important role in advancing digital marketing practices that drive awareness, leads and enrollment of Georgia Power's customer solutions and services. This position's main responsibility will be in the maintenance, utilization, integration, and enhancement of our Oracle Eloqua platform and the email marketing channel. The Marketing Automation Coordinator will also assist in managing the implementation, adoption and use of other existing applications and platforms within the Customer Technology team.

Along with being the subject matter expert on all things email, a successful candidate in this role must be able to collaboratively develop and teach continuous improvement processes to gain scale across the operating companies, all while maintaining performance transparency in the context of the tenets of Agile Marketing.

This candidate must also be comfortable partnering and collaborating with various internal stakeholders including the following business functions: Marketing, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Customer Service, Customer Operations, Customer Solutions, the Technology Organization and Business Intelligence

JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills )

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, marketing or a related field required.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience using Oracle Eloqua marketing automation platform
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in email marketing.
  • 2-3 years' experience as a senior subject matter expert among staff or direction of consultants in email marketing execution.
  • 1-2 years providing detailed reports in Eloqua
  • Eloqua certification is a plus
  • Experience with Oracles Sales Cloud preferred
  • Familiarity with Adobe Marketing Cloud, including AEM, Analytics, and Target is a plus
  • Ability to think logically and critically when troubleshooting along with a desire to grow your technical skill set
  • Ability to initiate and manage multiple and complex projects simultaneously
  • Ability to think analytically to understand how to gather, interpret and apply findings aimed at product/program growth in all areas of the product lifecycle
  • Strong relationship management and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a team environment (virtual and in person) to build coalitions, engage and influence others
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to effectively communicate with others at all knowledge and position levels
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, proactive, and results oriented
  • Strong planning and coordination skills are a must
  • Possess a service attitude; anticipate and respond promptly to stakeholder and customer needs
  • Proven ability to work effectively, influence and translate concepts to business partners in the Technology Organization

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hands-on Oracle Eloqua administration for the marketing team and business channel managers, assisting in the creation of effective marketing campaigns to maximize lead generation and customer service opportunities.
  • Responsible for day-to-day execution involving Oracle Eloqua including email campaign set up, dynamic content, form creation and processing, data management and segmentation, systems integration, lead routing, mobile marketing, reporting, etc.
  • Provide consultation and support on campaigns, including target selection, list segmentation, email compliance, email creation, workflow development, scoring model refinement, reporting, and performance optimization
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and working with Oracle Eloqua technical support on managing all Oracle-level issues.
  • Help maintain and support Oracle Eloqua integrations with internal systems including but not limited to Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target and Oracle Sales Cloud
  • Work with Marketing, IT and business teams to create actionable business requirements for new features, campaigns, lead scoring, segmentation, integrations, etc. Translate business needs to technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain marketing automation platform technical documentation. Assist in training peers on the Eloqua platform.
  • Stay abreast of new Oracle Eloqua and marketing operations developments and make recommendations for strategic improvements to continually improve and develop the effectiveness of the platform.
  • Work across the system with Business Applications teams on identifying the appropriate marketing analytics and data infrastructure to support CS&S needs.
  • Support in the launch of new capabilities of other Oracle products
