The Consumer Business within Georgia-Pacific focuses on building iconic American brands with consumers, shoppers and retail customers and we strive to strengthen the Brand Building organization through the addition of experienced top talent to the Marketing Analytics team based in Atlanta, GA. You will be working on diverse, exciting & challenging business problems.

The Marketing Analytics capability is essential to our Consumer Business by enabling frequent, rapid, holistic, data-driven and actionable insights and recommendations in the areas of brand building, media, and marketing through the use of best-in-class media measurement tools including Marketing Mix Models and Sales Lift studies.

This person will focus on all aspects of promotions and media analysis including the set-up, design, measurement and optimization of digital and mass media campaigns for all brands. This role will be an integral member of the Marketing Analytics team and will report to the Manager, Marketing Analytics.
What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Run in-house marketing mix models (MMM) from data prep (collection, validation, and formatting) to modeling and results.
  • Serve as the key marketing analytics point of contact for the IT and Business Services team to integrate new MMM data sources in GP data lake to store and access and prep media data.
  • Automate, maintain, and distribute quarterly brand health scorecards.
  • Support Marketing Analytics team in the interpretation and commercialization of results. Working with cross-functional stakeholders (Media, Brand Building, and Media Agency) to understand the efficiency and effectiveness of media, consumer promotions, and shopper marketing investments to support base business decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners evaluate 3rd party methodologies, the pros/cons of various methodologies, and provide guidance on how to leverage.
  • Collect and prepare data in a timely manner to enable on-time delivery of annual MMMs to inform annual planning.
  • Collect, prepare, and analyze the quarterly brand health scorecards - A report that looks across commercial metrics to inform brand health and needed attention across the organization.
  • Develop relationships with internal brand teams and capabilities to understand their business problems, challenges and develop solutions to meet their needs.
  • Work with external partners to understand industry best practices for MMM and other media measurement to fine tune and optimize in-house capabilities
  • Apply critical thinking to generate actionable insights based on learnings from various reports including: MMM, sales lift studies, equity tracking, and syndicated data sources.


The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:

  • Experience with Analytic Modeling (statistics, segmentation, regression) and development of algorithms)
  • Experience working with R or Python or Alteryx
  • Experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data within large data sets
  • Experience working within Excel including pivot tables and advanced formulas and dynamic charting
  • Experience building compelling PowerPoint decks


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with Analytic Modeling (statistics, segmentation, regression) and development of algorithms) within consumer package goods
  • Experience working with R or Python or Alteryx within a enterprise business environment
  • Experience utilizing visualization software such as Tableau or PowerBI or Qlik
  • Experience building compelling PowerPoint decks to influence business decisions
