Research Analyst (Contract - 20 hours/week)

We are looking for an analyst to support market research and Voice of the Customer research conducted as part of the Marketing team's Educator Insights program. This is a temporary position expected to last through June 2022. Working closely with the Educator Insights Manager, the analyst will contribute to the execution of research projects that track customer satisfaction, as well as educator needs, priorities, and
preferences with regard to K-12 instructional products. The resulting research deliverables will inform a wide range of internal efforts, including those undertaken by Marketing, Sales, Educator Success, and Product teams.
If you are someone who likes to manage datasets, execute analysis, and communicate findings both visually and in writing; have strong project management skills and are known to be someone with attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability; and have a spirit of continuous improvement to evolve existing deliverables and processes, we want to talk to you!
The impact you'll have:

  • Contribute to research design and execution, including drafting survey questions, programming and testing surveys, preparation of sample, and survey deployment.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data from educators, identifying themes, insights, and implications for business.
  • Create clear, concise, and compelling reports and presentations that highlight customer insights.
  • Contribute to the internal dissemination of insights through participation in presentations and reparation of research summaries.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal partners and vendors.

Who we're looking for:

  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
  • BS/BA or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong analytical abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills to be able to manipulate, data mine, clean, and analyze information using formulas, pivot tables, etc.
  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

We'd be thrilled if you also had these skills (although not required):

  • BA in Business, Social Science, Statistics, or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with Survey Monkey and Domo data visualization is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience in consumer insights or market research a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills

Location: Remote
Compensation & Benefits: This is a part-time temporary position with 20 hours/week. Competitive salary, however, benefits are not included with contract positions.
