Position Overview

CRH Americas Materials is currently recruiting for the position of a Market Intelligence Specialist within the Procurement Excellence team based in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the market intelligence function and processes within the Procurement Excellence team. The candidate will be able to complete data analysis to identify market and/or procurement performance opportunities, risks, and how to illustrate related findings for effective communication towards procurements teams and stakeholders. Responsible for data architecture, design, and control of reporting solutions, validation of data, and report consistency.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Responsible for data preparation and consolidation and delivery of reporting material.
  • Develop and execute various presentations and reports based on the needs of the business/procurement teams.
  • Is responsible for analyses, simulation models, tools, and templates supporting Procurement Performance Management and/or Market Intelligence.
  • Manage the exchange of reporting between internal stakeholders and external business intelligence vendors.
  • Engagement and alignment with local procurement teams and business stakeholders to build and maintain strategic analytical programs/applications in order to improve performance.
  • Provide recommendations to management for improving internal processes.
  • Maintain professional demeanor at all times while representing the company.
  • Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • BS required preferably in business-related discipline, Procurement, Supply Chain or other related field.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Procurement/Purchasing/Business Analytics or Competitive Intelligence experience is preferred.


Work Requirements

  • Must be 18 years in age or older.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Willingness to work independently and within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
