We are growing our Market Intelligence efforts to continuously develop deeper insights on customers, competitors, industry and ecosystem, in order to guide our strategic decisions and advise our customer interactions.

As a Market Intelligence Analyst you will investigate how industry, customer and competitor dynamics and external trends impact our business. You will combine your financial, market and technology analysis skills to help Ericsson identify potential areas of opportunity and risk and drive profitable growth. In this role you will have the opportunity to support all facets of our North American operations from executive leadership to customer units to product and services units.

What you will do

  • Analyze key industry and technology trends that impact or have the potential to impact Ericsson MANA's business or customers by conducting primary and secondary research
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams across Ericsson to gather, structure and analyze market information and deliver the resulting intelligence analysis to all relevant stakeholders
  • Develop content in the form of presentations, word documents, market and financial models and other deliverables that incorporate key research findings and implications to be consumed by a diverse group of stakeholders: from executive leadership, to sales, to product owners
  • Contribute to major group deliverables including our Annual Business planning process, and our quarterly Situation Analysis documents
  • Build models of key competitive/business metrics, e.g., market sizing across lines of business, CapEx development, market share
  • Develop and use variety of information sources, e.g., 3rd party analyst and broker research, primary research, corporate assets (Business Areas and Group BI), etc.
  • Devise innovative ways to retrieve market intelligence
  • Contribute to strategy development
You will bring

  • 1+ years of Market Intelligence and/or Strategy experience gained at a strategy/management consulting firm, investment bank, or corporate telecom/tech market intelligence or strategy team
  • Telecom or tech experience preferred
  • Proven structured, analytical problem-solving capability
  • Experience using wide range of information sources
  • Proven ability to build structured quantitative models
  • Strong executive communication/storytelling skills (written/oral)
  • Solid technical background (BSc or equivalent); MBA preferred
