Job Overview:
As Olive continues to grow, the Market Development team plays a critical role in filling our sales teams' top-of-funnel pipeline for accelerating growth. The Market Development Business Analyst will have the responsibility to have a deep understanding of healthcare trends nationwide and report back to the Vice President (VP) of Market Development and market development teams in assistance in creating innovative sales initiatives. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and absorb and explain complex concepts to non-technical users. This role reports to the VP of Market Development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts in-depth research on industry market trends nationwide, both ongoing and by ad-hoc assignment.
- Evaluating market trends, anticipating changes, and uncovering opportunity areas.
- Attending weekly meetings with various Marketing teams to identify opportunities for where additional research can be useful.
- Comfortable utilizing technology for research such as Definitive Health, Zoominfo, Salesforce, and other mediums as needed.
- Consolidating research into concise, easily understood documentation to accelerate initiative development.
- Collect and share up-to-date intelligence on the latest healthcare industry news and IT advancements utilized by healthcare organizations.
- Run required reports in Salesforce and analyze results for campaign development.
- Attend industry events and provide reporting to the Market Development team.
- Support Market Development team on campaign development.
- Support Market Development team on ad-hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- The ability to influence team stakeholders and work closely with them to determine recommendations.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- A track record of following through on commitments.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
- Proven capability with Salesforce.com/marketing automation platforms
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and complete multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Experience in healthcare or SaaS or enterprise software desired
- This role can be located remotely and does not require a specific living location
