Position Summary
It takes ALL of us to do what we do at a world-class level, but it's the insights, data and subject matter expertise our Business Analysts bring to the table that makes us a long-standing leader in the larger Pet Care Category. We give you the high charge of integrating with our Market Activation teams, providing internal and external sales analysis, leveraging analytical data/insights and developing portfolio recommendations to achieve overall business objectives.

As a Portfolio Analyst, you will work cross-functionally with our Market Development Organization, Sales, Marketing & CMI departments. You will serve as the connective tissue that brings actionable 4P insights to the organization. You will report on business performance for our market portfolios, all while flexing your data visualization & story-telling skills when presenting to key stakeholders within the organization.

  • Lead 4P analysis of internal & external data and uncover key insights to create compelling business stories and actionable recommendations.
  • Provide analytics support to the Market Activation team in preparation for customer meetings, planning needs and ad-hoc business requests.
  • Fully integrate within each Market Segment to develop, maintain, and continually assess reporting needs for the team.
  • Identify & execute ways of streamlining business reporting by partnering with other analytic support teams across the organization.
  • Train/Educate new Market Development Organization associates on how to utilize reports. Basic


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 1+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Analytics or any other related field.
  • Must have strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with syndicated and shopper data (Nielsen, IRI, Retail Link, MADRID, PowerBI) is preferred
  • Experience with eCommerce
  • Experience working with CPG retailers
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Business or Management. Skills:
  • Strong 4P tool knowledge and expertise: excel, power point, Nielsen, TMT, Power BI, shipment, other POS sources, Rich Mix, etc. skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple business units across Generating Demand, IT, CMI, Nielsen support teams.
  • Passion for understanding Market Performance and an ability to translate numerous analytic sources and facts into insights and actionable recommendations
  • Strong communication skills (inclusive of strong data visualization), ability to clearly articulate insights across varied audiences.
