At the intersection of these pillars, the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence is building the data foundation and a catalog of data products, analytical applications, and enterprise services that give users across our company the tools, data, and guidance to generate insights.

The Visualization & Insights Manager will be refining and promoting data visualization and self-service enablement data products/services with the intent of enabling users across the Enterprise to build their own that focuses on improving ongoing efforts of visualization standards, training approach across the organization and lead visualization engineers.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • This individual executes on the strategy of the team through delivering milestones on the team's roadmap and informs future strategy in partnership with their leadership.
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring and developing the diverse talent necessary to fulfill Data & Analytics purpose and business outcomes.
  • Provide leadership in new data product development by ideating and defining product requirements and features.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external SMEs, and across the data product & services portfolio to assess prioritize features and ensure adoption
  • Understanding how the products are architected with sufficient detail to improve their performance, troubleshoot, and resolve problems
  • Support and evolve best practices and standards for all cycles of visual product development including requirements, prototyping, code development, code/asset management, versioning, documentation, and maintenance
  • Coach and train business data visualization champions to advance and optimize the adoption of data visualization and reporting through the execution of use cases, supporting best practices & standards
  • Collaborate with data stewards to further data engagement strategies and activities for line of business data domains that promote data visualization and reporting methodologies for UI/UX development, deployment and tenant maintenance
  • Collaboratively work with governance team in implementing governance policies and processes that balance centralized control and standardization with decentralized speed and flexibility
  • Build strong relationships with analytics owners and other business leaders to understand their reporting and visualization needs


Min. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred
  • 10-15 years professional work experience with at least 5-8 years of experience in providing enterprise users digital products and solutions
  • 5+ years of relevant experience developing dashboards, data visualizations, analytical reports, and self-service tools
  • 3+ years of experience using cloud solutions, Azure preferred
  • Experience in developing and facilitating strategic alignment of business data visualization priorities across groups
  • Developing and facilitating the education and ongoing engagement of visualization resources across groups
  • Awareness of data privacy and security priorities to ensure compliance thru reporting discovery products
  • Experience in designing, maintaining and improving framework for deriving measurable outcomes from dashboarding and reporting initiatives to enhance decision making and data insights
  • Strong ability to solve problems with creative solutions
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, a visual and verbal storyteller who can guide and develop these skills across the team


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling
  • Strong understanding of data exploring, wrangling and security
