As the Manager, Vaccines Performance Reporting & Analytics, you will play a key role in helping us understand our vaccine brands across the breadth of our portfolio (Shingrix, Bexsero, Menveo, Pediarix, Rotarix, Priorix, and more!). The person in this role will provide input into KPI/metric strategy, regularly report on these critical metrics, and do deeper dive diagnoses when KPIs / market events dictate. Your work will help answer questions like: where is our business coming from (Retail, Health Systems, etc), what is our market share, how are key segments performing, and where do opportunities or challenges exist. You will work with the Director, Performance Analytics to summarize and package these findings for various forums like: weekly performance reports (sent to US President), monthly brand health meetings, inputs to Investor Relations decks.

In order to be successful, you will need to have strong business acumen, be good at making sense of data/numbers, and be able to clearly articulate what you see in the data.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with Marketing/Sales to propose KPIs/metrics that we should track to give us a clear understanding of business performance. Develop target levels for success.
  • Develop and refresh ongoing reports (often through direct collaboration with offshore team).
  • Clearly articulate findings from various reports and proactively conduct deeper diagnoses (pulling in market research / advanced analytics team members) as needed.
  • Work with the Director to pull together a higher-level story of what is going on with each brand. Help shape the narrative that is shared in various forums, including:
    • Weekly Performance Reports (sent to US President)
    • Monthly Brand Health Meetings
    • Monthly Performance Review (MPR) (sent to Global)
    • Quarterly Inputs to Investor Relations
  • Be a point person for certain brand teams, including becoming integrated into their business and becoming an SME regarding what we see in the data for those brands
  • Liaise with Data, Tech and External Vendors as they implement and update automated tools. Represent the end user (our team, Marketing, Sales) to initiate refinements/modifications, share user requirements, business rules/calculations and ensure needs are met
  • Contribute to overall performance reporting & analytics strategy and roadmap (lead by Director)

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Finance/ Economics
  • Experience using Excel for data manipulation
  • Experience in Pharma



Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • BA / BS, in science/math/finance or other analytical field
  • Experience working in Vaccines and knowledge of associated data sources (e.g. DDD, TRx/NBRx, etc)
  • Ability to pull data using a variety of database querying solutions or programming languages (e.g. Python)
  • Experience using various visualization tools to diagnosis performance issues, e.g. Tableau, PowerBI
  • Strong communication and presentation skills as evidenced through impactful management presentations, conference presentations, and/ or publications
  • Business acumen and synthesis skills
  • Proven and advanced collaboration skills, and cultural sensitivity
