Marketing Analytics and Data Science Manager

We’re looking for a Marketing Analytics and Data Science Manager to join our Marketing team!
What you’ll do:
Build and manage a high-performing team of data science, business intelligence and media measurement professionals to support the most important marketing priorities and deliver world-class campaigns
Establish consistent and defensible media measurement approaches across all Snap sub-brands, connecting data pipelines to stand up dashboards for benchmarking and optimization and creating new metrics in support of our many stakeholders
Provide strategic direction, project clarity, methodological consultation and deliver results both individually and through managing a high performing team
Work cross-functionally and partner with brand and media marketers, finance team members, data scientists and engineers to benchmark performance, solve problems and conduct data analysis at scale
Collaborate with data science teams to build methodologies into our experimentation platform to measure marketing activities
Partner closely with data scientists, engineers, and PMs to create Airflow pipelines that power dashboards
Exploratory analysis that influences longer-term thinking including understanding how teams interpret and analyze data and campaign results
Synthesize multiple internal and external data sources to create holistic presentations with recommendations for media strategy and execution
Conduct in-depth analysis of all data sources, asking the right questions, testing hypotheses, identifying patterns and providing the necessary business context to translate what it all means
Lead the development & implementation of regular insights share-outs that drive the consumer voice throughout the organization
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Deep and broad knowledge of ad measurement ecosystem (e.g., lift testing, multi-touch attribution, app install measurement, reach/audience) and industry trends
Strong statistical knowledge and experimental design or A/B testing experience in online controlled experiments
Experience programming in Python, R, or SQL. Additional experience in Airflow
Executes with a high degree of precision, ensuring attention to detail
Current pulse on digital platforms, tools, and trends that are reshaping media and advertising every day
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts and their implications to non-experts with diverse backgrounds
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
Highly self-motivated, with attention to detail and a passion for applying research in your analyses
Strong understanding of data visualizations
Strong applied statistics and mathematics skills: hypothesis testing, regression, classification, or optimization
Experience with big-data environmentS
Experience with causal inference techniques, econometrics, bayesian and/or frequentist hypothesis testing
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, or other related areas of study, or equivalent years of experience
10+ years of analytics experience across ad efficacy, data science or business intelligence engineering at a leading ad platform, agency, or research firm
Preferred Qualifications:
Master or Ph.D degree in math, statistics, computer science, or other quantitative field
