Our US Data Privacy & Protection team is an integral part of our Cybersecurity Global Store Front, providing support to our clients on a wide array of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Strategy
  • Compliance
  • Risk

  • Training & Knowledge Management

Job Description

  • Lead major projects and manage relationships with flagship and key accounts and/or support on a range of client delivery, as part of an on-site or remote project team 
  • Support clients in the design, engineering and architecture of data privacy solutions through the development of technical project requirements to evaluating, implementing and testing
  • Drive sales efforts through business development initiatives, thought leadership and proposals that differentiate the Sia brand from competitors
  • Build and maintain existing relationships with clients, leveraging knowledge and experience to refine and enhance the client experience and deliverables
  • Manage, guide and mentor junior resources, as well as identifying skills gaps, recruitment efforts and other people operations-oriented needs
  • Identify new markets of opportunity to further develop new and industry-leading offerings
  • Lead and conduct effective meetings
  • Collaborate with internal and client project team members, and contribute to internal communications and readiness activity within the program team and with client groups
  • Provide status reporting of progress, dependencies, issues, risks and overall program health
  • Maintain program sites as a repository for all project information

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business or related field, advanced degrees (Master’s level+) welcome but not required
  • Seven or more years of recent client-facing management consulting experience with a recent emphasis on data privacy related projects, ideally covering one or more of the following topics:
    • Privacy requirements, metrics, reporting procedures and control frameworks
    • Privacy policies & procedures
    • Privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data transfer impact assessments
    • Data collection, consent, and cookies management
    • Record of processing activities
    • Third party risk management
    • Privacy training
    • Data mapping and lineage
    • Incident response and crisis management
    • Data transfer mechanisms
  • Experience with related areas in IT systems and security a plus, such as cybersecurity, technology risk, technology compliance, etc.
  • One or more of the following certifications: CIPP, CIPM, CIPT or other related privacy certification
  • Ability to demonstrate and apply knowledge of data protection regulation and laws to consulting projects, such as the EU-GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, GLBA, and CDPA
  • Strong working knowledge and application of data protection frameworks and standards
  • Based near one of our U.S. operating offices and eligibility to work within the United States
