Highlights:
As the Manager of Data and Reporting, you drive growth by providing insights that determine operational impact, trends and opportunities. You excel at guiding a team of data and reporting specialists that assist leadership with maximizing resources across several departments and lines of business. You focus your team on creating accurate and comprehensive forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests and dashboards. Using your in-depth understanding of data analysis and methodology, you generate data insights that have been proven to create a lucrative return on investments (ROIs), equity and assets. You thrive in an office environment serving as a consultant for teams across Spectrum Enterprise. You report to the Senior Director of Business Analysis for goals, guidance and assistance.

What you will do:

  • Drive the success of the data analytics function by providing detailed leadership to a team responsible for the reporting and analysis of various data.
  • Support new products or operational improvements through the proactive identification of areas of opportunity based on data tends.
  • Resolve issues of strategic importance to the organization by directing high visibility projects.
  • Generate timely and valuable analytical results through regular communication with senior management.
  • Enhance the success of a variety of analytical solutions through detailed complex data analyses.
  • Guide operational improvement plans by capturing, developing and documenting data definitions, business rules and data quality requirements.
  • Produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests and dashboards by managing the data integration from multiple sources.
  • Determine operational impacts, trends and opportunities through the interpretation of data, results analysis and by providing insight.
  • Develop reports and deliverables for senior leadership and stakeholders to leverage.
  • Identify and define data quality improvements to develop new strategies and improve business performance.
  • Ensure company-wide efficiencies through the creation and maintenance of report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information resources.
  • Mitigate risks by conducting quality data audits and analysis to ensure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements.
  • Utilize knowledge of mathematical modeling and other optimization methods to perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Monitor the team to achieve high data standards and achieve accurate results and conclusions.
  • Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned.


Required keys for success:

  • Two or more years of management experience.
  • Five or more years of data analysis and reporting or related experience.
  • Familiar with SQL.
  • Proven prioritization and organizational skills that can work independently and in a collaborative dynamic team environment.
  • History of managing multiple projects and priorities with the ability to analyze and interpret data to quickly identify issues and opportunities.
  • Confident when preparing and delivering data-driven presentations.
  • Track record of supervising and motivating others while making decisions and working under pressure to resolve issues.
  • Deadline-driven that shows sound judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.


Your education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (required).

The pay for this position has a minimum of $96,100.00. The actual salary offer may be higher as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
