Job Description

As a Manager, Business Analytics, you will drive business and data analytics responsibilities of the World-Wide Refrigeration IT Segment of Lennox.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Collaborate closely with cross functional IT teams, business owners, senior business unit leaders and executive leadership.
• Designing and developing data reports.
• Define and drive global strategy for Analytics and Business Intelligence.
• Collaborate, supervise, train, assign responsibilities for attaining segment goals and objectives related to business intelligence and analytics.
• Work closely with senior management to understand data and its relationship to business models, processes and controls as well to develop data analysis plans.
• Present insights and recommendations to management to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
• Oversee projects and ensure timelines and finances are within parameters.
• Oversee the development and implementation of data reporting and assist as needed.
• Guide global teams to develop, maintain and improve data reporting tools used for sales and financial reporting, statistical analysis, qualitative and quantitative assessment, exploratory data mining and tracking/reporting.
• Apply business logic to define, design and implement data mining techniques on large data sets as well as communicate findings.
• Advise on complex data collection systems in relationship to data reporting.
• Determine the best methods for integrating data from several different sources and formats.
• Summarize complex data in presentations and written reports in a manner that is easily understood.
• Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications.
• Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with upper management, external stakeholders, etc.
• Represent WWR IT effectively in meetings with groups and individuals, including making effective presentations.
• Create and enforce procedures for effective data management.
• Develop and monitor performance and quality control plans to define new process improvement opportunities.
• Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures.

This is a hybrid model position that is based out of Richardson, TX (Dallas - Ft Worth Metroplex). This position works remote on Mondays and Fridays and in office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday.

Travel:

May be required to travel up to 10% of time to Europe, Georgia-US, Chennai-India

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 8 years related experience.
• People, management experience preferred
• Requires thorough understanding and experience with BI technology, data governance and program adoption.
• Must have expertise across multiple, functional areas (finance, sales, etc.).
• Must have extensive program and project management experience.
• Requires strong people management skills.
• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills in executive, business user, and IT contexts.
• Approach on visualization
• ETL strategy with a robust data warehouse which can be scaled towards data lakes/cubes
• Understand data sources (SAP, Salesforce, etc)
