Responsibilities
The Manager of Analytics will oversee a small team of Analysts and Senior Analysts who work with payer and claims data, quality measures, cost trends, population health, and in-network/out-of-network utilization. The Manager will interact regularly with senior leadership and payers, and will work hands-on with their team to provide accurate and timely data. The ideal candidate will have prior experience overseeing a team, experience with quality/HEDIS measures, and be proficient in working with SQL and writing queries.
Position Summary:
The Arizona Care Network, LLC (ACN) is a clinically integrated (CI) physician network and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) that is a collaboration sponsored by Dignity Health and Abrazo Health, a Tenet Company. The Manager of Analytics is an employee of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (DHMSO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dignity Health, providing support to ACN.
The Manager of Analytics is responsible for supporting and assisting with coordination of the operational analytics of within ACN as well as the analysis, reporting, and data collection (as necessary) on accountable care and payment innovation efforts (i.e., bundled payments, shared savings, per member per month payments), for conducting data analysis to support operational activities, and key business/committee decisions, and for directing the daily activities of Population Health Analysts assigned to ACN.
The Manager of Analytics will perform analysis of accountable care and/or payment innovation related projects of quantitative and qualitative nature, under the direction of ACN's VP of Quality & Analytics and CFO. The role monitors, researches, analyzes, prepares and presents written and verbal reports on metrics related to accountable care and payment reform methodologies that are identified by system-wide senior leadership as guided by various initiatives. They will also facilitate development of financial assumptions for pro forma development, financial modeling of proposed ventures, mergers and acquisitions including pro forma and cash flow projections to lead ACN's successful expansion into new markets as well as provide data to support current markets.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in health care analysis, finance, financial modeling, economics, or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Care Management, or Economics required.
- Relevant experience and demonstrated solid financial skills including modeling, analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strong skills in claims processing, reconciliation, accounting, revenue cycle, and equivalent.
- Familiarity with innovation models, accountable care/shared savings modeling, physician billing/processing, and overall hospital/health care reform.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in management consulting organization, health care management position, or equivalent preferred.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Economics, or equivalent preferred.
