Corteva Agriscience is searching for a Managed Data Services Lead. The Managed Data Services Lead is the leader to foster value creation by means of the organization's data assets and platforms.

This role can accommodate a flexible work arrangement where you may work multiple days a week from home. This position is also open to be filled remotely, and can be based anywhere in the United States. If hired, you may be required to travel as necessary to support business activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience - What you'll bring to the table!

Education
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, computer science, data science, information science or related field, or equivalent work experience. Academic qualification or professional training and experience in data science and/or analytics is desirable.

Experience

  • Ten or more years of professional experience, ideally in leadership roles focused on data
  • Five or more years leading cross-functional teams and programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
  • Experience in integrating complex processes and information strategies, and/or designing strategic metrics and scorecards.
  • Industry experience desirable, but not required.


Knowledge/Skills

  • Understanding and passion to Shift left (ability to communicate this concept)
  • Has worked with datastores in both Public Cloud, ideally Azure, and On-Premise
  • Solid understanding of SaaS, PaaS, Managed, Leveraged based datastores
  • Multiple datastore technologies experience (MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Sybase)
  • Solid understanding of OpEx versus CapEx models
  • Solid understanding of De-centralized versus Centralized controls and models
  • Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills; able to work across business lines at a senior level to influence and effect change to achieve common goals.
  • Demonstrated leadership; proven track record of leading complex, multidisciplinary teams in the design, delivery and adoption technical solutions.
  • Proven data, analytics, and software development literacy - The ability to describe business use cases/outcomes, data sources and management concepts, analytical approaches, and automation opportunities including, but not limited to machine learning (ML).
  • Analytical skills - Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with business information generation and analysis methods.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders.
  • Proven record of effective leadership, including the ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, build teams, and to get things done through others not directly under supervision.
  • Broad experience in multiple competency areas of data, analytics, and automation delivery. Examples are data warehousing, business intelligence (BI), data governance, data architecture, data integration, data classification, data strategy, data quality management, data security and privacy, MDM, data standards, regulatory compliance and enterprise architecture frameworks, AI/ML engineering practices, platforms and tools.
