Meeting your future team:

  • As data volumes grow rapidly, so does the time spent on processes to clean and organize that data. This means that the potential of smart automation features driven by AI will become key differentiators for the Collibra software platform. 
  • As our Machine Learning Operations Engineer, you will use your infrastructure and operations skills to help the AI team securely and stably deliver Machine Learning services to our customers.
  • You will play a crucial role in improving our Machine Learning Continuous Delivery pipelines and manage the cloud infrastructure needed to support our models.

Machine Learning Operations Engineers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Maintain, monitor, and develop the production MLaaS infrastructure where our customers consume our models, both in the Cloud (AWS, GCP and Azure) and on the Edge
  • Architect new infrastructure solutions that Collibra needs to move forward, going for open-source solutions first
  • Maintain and architect the complex build pipelines and assist the team in creating them
  • You help architect the ML CI/CD approach and coordinate frequently with the different infrastructure-focused teams to align on best practices
  • Support our learning culture by sharing your state-of-the-art knowledge through internal and external presentations

You Have:

  • At least 2 years of expertise in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD in production environments.
  • Working experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, Git
  • Deep experience with cloud infrastructure; AWS or GCP is a must
  • You are based in the US and are a US citizen which enables you to work on our FedRAMP cloud offering

  • You are a fast and agile learner who is able to adapt quickly as our technology stack increases to meet new challenges
  • You can learn both from your colleagues and independently

  • Machine learning is something that intrigues you and you want to learn more by working closely with ML experts

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will have a good overview of our existing infrastructure and pipelines. 
  • Within your third month, you will have made contributions to projects that are running in production. You will also have a broader overview of the ML projects the team is working on and what the Collibra product offering is. 
  • Within your sixth month, you will be responsible for a few projects and initiatives, and you will be able to propose your own initiatives based on the gaps in our tooling and opportunities for automation.
