M3 Functional Analyst
Description
Georgia-Pacific (GP) is seeking a Functional Analyst - Supply Chain Planning that wants to join our team that will implement the next generation of knowledge systems centered on Infor M3 CloudSuite ERP for our Building Products businesses. As a Functional Analyst, you will partner with the Customer Order Management, sales, operations, and accounting teams to design Supply Chain processes, capture requirements, make configurations within M3 ERP, and support system adoption. The ideal candidate will have extensive supply chain (supply, demand, inventory planning) business process design and optimization experience as well as knowledge of commercial business processes, data management, broad understanding of Infor M3 technology, tenacity for solving problems, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. Candidates should be comfortable working on a dynamic, cross functional team where you will use initiative and leadership skills, to discover opportunities and create a cross divisional customer experience, focused on maximizing value creation for our customers and GP.What You Will Do In Your Role
- Apply Business Analysis principles to elicit, understand and document requirements.
- Assist with the interpretation of user requirements into feasible options and communicating this back to stakeholders.
- Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize requirements.
- Develop test cases, execute test plans, log defects, develop functional design specifications including workflow, validation, and logic requirements. Ensure designs can be traced back to requirements.
- Understand and document process flows, integration points, forms and workflow requirements impacting areas of responsibilities
- Configure Infor M3 and Infor SCM edge systems per requirements and perform unit testing
- Analyze business challenges, objectives and develop as is/to-be processes
- Collaborate with team (process leads, vendors, solution integrators etc.) to clarify vision, scope, and capabilities
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements
- Assist in conducting research of alternatives and cost/benefit analysis
- Collaborate with peers, stakeholders and project team to secure commitments and maintain accountability
- Assist with the creation and impact of deployment and cutover plans
- Demonstrate a high level of ownership, initiative, and strong sense of urgency in all assignments as part of a fast-paced project implementation environment
LOCATION: ATLANTA, GA ( WE OFFER RELOCATION)
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience performing the functions of an IT Business Analyst (examples include but not limited to conducting interviews to gather user requirements, leading requirements gathering and documentation, mapping process flows, and developing functional design specifications, and metrics)
- At least 2 years of experience with configurating, implementing and supporting supply chain planning processes within Infor M3, Infor Demand Planning, Infor Supply Planning, Infor Integrated Business planning or within other ERP's such as SAP, Oracle etc.
- Ability to query databases such as SQL server
- Experience with systems development lifecycle planning, cost estimation/economics, and requirements gathering required
- Experience with Microsoft 0365 and diagraming tools such as Microsoft Visio
- Willing to travel up to 30%
What Will Put You Ahead
- Infor M3 CloudSuite multi-tenant configuration experience.
- Experience in the Building Products industry.
- Experience supporting and/or interfacing with customer portals, customer relationship management CRM (salesforce or equivalent).
- Working Knowledge of Agile/SDLC development methodologies
