Lead Incident Response Analyst
Summary
Are you interested in working with cloud technology? You will work within a diverse and inclusive group who is responsible for proactively monitoring and improving various applications and systems. This role is on a team that sits inside the Big Fish Central Tech Department which is comprised of IT and Engineering teams that support the company and games studios and will allow you to make improvements and innovate as you learn new technologies.
Responsibilities

  • Interface and help synthesize tools and processes across the organization worldwide
  • Create new policies, a feedback loop process, and continuously share input on how to improve operations
  • Coordinate and communicate with people within Big Fish technical operations and across the organization
  • Review, maintain, and continuously update relevant procedures for response
  • Monitor technical operations and actively participate in all incident response activities
  • Recognize, evaluate, and make recommendations to improve systems and applications
  • Support and triage escalated incidents and act as a member of the incident management lifecycle
  • Own & facilitate postmortem initiatives actively working with the org to improve quality
  • Be engaged, solution oriented, and proactive working within IT resolving and supporting service issues
  • Manage various communication streams including stakeholder communications
  • Follow runbooks to solve issues quickly
  • Navigate through tools, systems, and applications to recognize, resolve, and report issues or anomalies
  • Interpret systems, applications and analyze then report all events and anomalies
  • Drive onboarding employees
  • Provide technical & soft skill coaching to maintain a motivated, innovative & effective team
  • Create a positive and disciplined working environment and follow best practices
  • Utilize best in class technology
  • Shift work; 10hours (morning, evening, night)

You will need to have

  • Hands on incident response team experience
  • Experience working with teams across multiple locations
  • Large-scale, distributed systems experience
  • Technical experience (ie Networking, Systems, SaaS, Monitoring, Logs)
  • A positive attitude with the ability to communicate confidently andeffectively
