Job Description:

Merkle's Senior Business Analyst serves as a key facilitator within the organization and its clients by liaising between the business and technical teams. Reporting to the Business Analysts Manager, the Senior Business Analyst is a critical part of the identification and definition of business requirements and drives for business problem solutions. Primary responsibilities of this role are elicitation, analysis and documentation of business and functional requirements, user stories, use cases and ensuring these elements tie directly back to business objectives as stated in the Statement of Work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the requirements engineering process throughout the development life cycle, eliciting, Create and deliver functional requirements documentation
  • Translate designs into user stories
  • Work with designers to create world-class user experiences to achieve highest levels of engagement and adoption
  • Assist and sometimes lead stakeholder communication
  • Triage product bugs during User Acceptance Testing
  • Work with the QA team to review testing coverage



Qualifications:

The qualifications below are ideal, but not all are required. We encourage candidates to apply if they satisfy some, but not all of the qualifications.

  • 3-10 years of professional experience, working with either business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-consumer (B2C) ecommerce sites
  • Interested in delivering functional/engaging user experiences
  • Hands-on, driven self-starter with high initiative
  • Experience gathering business requirements a plus
  • Familiarity with the Agile development process a plus
  • Working knowledge of or more ecommerce platform (SFCC, Hybris, Shopify, Magneto, etc)
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technology related discipline or commensurate experience

For individuals assigned to and/or hired in Colorado, the anticipated salary range for this position is $100K - $130k, which is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other job-related qualifications. Pay ranges in locations other than Colorado may differ based on labor market wage rates in those locations.
