Job Description
We are looking for a colleague with strong ETL skills, experience using Ab-Initio for Data Warehousing and Data Mart applications within the HealthCare Insurance business.

Some of the main responsibilities for this position include:• Leading developers in delivering new transformation solutions for a large data warehouse, multiple data marts, data farm and data repository in cloud and on prem platforms.• Creating or modifying procedures to solve complex problems, considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.• Designing, codes, tests, debugs, and documenting those programs.• Independently designing and/or coding the development of cost-effective application and program solutions.• Independently performing ongoing system maintenance, research, problem resolution and on-call support tasks for existing systems.• Familiarity and compliance with efficient utilization of the prescribed methodologies (Code Asset Management) to ensure compliance for all work performed.• Performing and leading unit testing. May perform or assist with integration and system testing, according to detailed test plans to ensure high-quality systems.• Assisting business partners with User Acceptance Testing.• Supports and promotes the reuse of assets across the organization.
* This position is ideally available local to Hartford, CT but it is also available local to PA, TX and AZ.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 95,000
Maximum: 209,000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications• 5+ years of experience with ETL solution design, Data Warehousing, software development and application development support.• 3+ years of experience with one or more programming languages, development tools, and/or databases and the systems development life cycle, applicable to development organization.• 5+ years of experience with SQL, advanced SQL coding experience in an enterprise setting.• 5+ years of experience with Unix/Linux systems.

Preferred Qualifications• Healthcare Industry Experience preferably within Membership, Claim, Provider and Rx subject areas.• Experience with IBM UNIX DB2 databases.• Experience with PySpark, Python, Aginity, Putty.• Ab Initio/GDE experience.• Kshell, C and ZEKE.• Working knowledge of mainframe and midrange environments.• Experience with GCP technologies and Big Query or other cloud technologies.• Experience with application development support software packages.• DataStage and Big Integrate desired.• Experience with IBM Mainframe files.• Experience working in an Agile framework such as SAFe.• Affiliations with a technical or professional organization or user group.• Solid analytical and software development skills.• Ability to optimize SQL coding for efficiency.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Equivalent education required.
