Job Description
What You’ll Do
Responsible for formulating system scopes and objectives relative to the business plans and industry requirements. Provides technical guidance concerning the business implications of the application of systems. Provides technical consulting on complex projects. Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements and translation them into system requirement specifications. Develops project plans, creates test cases, executes and supports tests, creates implementation plans, assigns and reviews work of the team, and coordinates the installation of solutions. Advises and coaches team members.
How You’ll Do It
Reporting and Analytics: Engage and collaborate with the AML Risk Assessment (“RA”), Know Your Customer (“KYC”), Partner Due Diligence (“PDD”), Financial Intelligence Unit (“FIU”), and Quality Control (“QC”) teams to develop requirements for reporting and analytics needs. Support various regulatory, audit, and compliance activities analytics (Business Unit Testing and Monitoring (“BUTM”), Internal Audit (“IA”), Model Risk Management (“MRM”), Matters Requiring Attention (“MRA”), Matters Requiring Immediate Attention (“MRIA”), Exam Management, etc.) as required.
Support Corporate Risk Management in developing, implementing, and maintaining performance metric dashboards, regulatory reporting, and ad-hoc analytics for the Bank and Payments AML Risk Assessment, KYC, PDD, FIU, Quality Control (“QC”) and Regulatory reporting functions. Provide consulting expertise to horizontal teams within the compliance area including Partner Risk Rating (“PRR”), Bank and Payment Services Risk Assessment, FIU & KYC operations, Enterprise Sanctions and List Screening (“ESLS”), and rule tuning for Transaction Monitoring (“TM”).
As needed, help troubleshoot challenges resulting from SAS, Python, Tableau, AMLECO, eCredit, Case Management systems, Quality Management System (“QMS”) or data warehouse outages, upgrades, data hygiene issues and rule related challenges (spikes in alerts, etc.) to resolve issues either by incident ticket management or by business as usual enhancement requests through Project Management Office (“PMO”), Business Technology (“BT”) and/or application vendor.
Lead and develop the next generation of cloud data engineering and reporting solutions to support expanded scope and depth of AML Strategy. Implement and execute agile methodology to ensure rapid and iterative turn-around for new initiatives and ongoing maintenance including the identification of required input data to generate expected results. Apply lean concepts to assist and improve upon compliance management processes for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with the PMO and Compliance Management on new initiatives and enhancements to improve existing systems with specific focus on data gaps and hygiene.
Maintain a high level of awareness and knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and assist in identifying and raising significant compliance concerns including facilitating interactions with vendors and technology teams.
Qualifications You’ll Need

- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business, Information Technology, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Software Development, Business Analyst, Project Management, Scrum master, Finance or related experience
- In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in Software Development, Business Analyst, Project Management, Scrum master, Finance or related experience
