As a Lead Collections Analyst, you will be an active lead to all Collections Analysts, as well as manage your own book of business. This position reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager. Duties include (but not limited to) the following:


In this role you will:

  • Oversight and execution of collections for all of LivePerson’s customers, globally, while managing U.S. Enterprise accounts. 
  • Oversight of the Collections Team which consists of one (1) Sr. Collections Analyst and two (2) Collections Analyst.
  • Subject Matter Expert for collections processes and process improvements. 
  • Assist with Cash Forecasting and manage Collection Goals to drive cash flow and financial performance. 
  • Ensure existing customers receive excellent service.
  • Improve customer relationships making sure that external partner and internal business partner relationships are improved. 
  • Resolve all collections disputes; work with various teams (i.e. Sales and Billing) to prevent identified errors.
  • This role interacts with multiple departments across LivePerson. It also involves extensive customer and other 3rd party interaction.
  • Help work with and discover how each individual team member contributes their talents and help them achieve their goals.


Your qualifications are: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting) or 5+ years work experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years collections experience (preferably within SaaS or technology industry).
  • Minimum of 2 years leadership experience required. 
  • Intermediate Excel required.
  • Experience with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, etc) a plus, not required. 
  • Experience with business systems like Zuora, Salesforce - huge bonus.
  • Ability to create reports / presentations.
  • Ability to maintain relationships both internally and externally.
  • Independently determines/develops approach to solution to help drive cash collections.
  • Self-motivated and action oriented; hands on, “roll up your sleeves” mentality required.
  • Strong work ethic, results driven and commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving company and department goals.
  • Ability to successfully accomplish all responsibilities in a fast-paced, growing and demanding environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
