Job Description

This role could be hybrid or remote based on proximity to an office location.

The Lead Business Development Analyst will be responsible for recruiting activities and following leads through social media outreach and events. This associate will also facilitate our virtual schools and support the learning and development endeavors of our newly recruited.

What you do

  • Facilitate our virtual schools and project manage our "new to Ameritas" learning opportunities.
  • Create and maintain curriculum for our newly recruited financial professionals.
  • LinkedIn and other recruiting activities.
  • Partner with Internal Sales Consultants (ISC) and Regional Vice Presidents (RVP) to drive recruiting opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationship with ISCs and RVPs.
  • In conjunction with the RVPs and ISCs utilizing LinkedIn, Salesforce, Mapping software etc create, implement, and maintain recruiting strategies.
  • Log calls and all pertinent information daily in the CRM (SalesForce.com).
  • Continuously enhance skills through professional development activities. (Reading, formal/informal education, training classes, special projects/assignments).
  • Producing live recruiting events and hosting virtual live events.
  • Production of virtual events for existing field partners and recruits .
  • Promotions and educational events with premier sponsors including compliance approvals and
  • building events on virtual platforms.
  • Interaction with the sponsors and set up schedule events for the year with those sponsors.
  • Perform other duties as needed by the department and the team, such as ongoing projects assigned by management.
  • Occasional travel required


What you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Series 6 or 7 preferred, required within 180 days of hire
  • Life Health license, Industry designations preferred
  • 2-4 years related experience preferred
  • Professional presentation and speaking skills
  • Virtual event hosting experience preferred
