Eaton's Marketing Commercial Operations Division is currently seeking a Lead Analyst, Digital Enablement to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, Ohio or Moon Township, Pennsylvania.

Position Overview:

The Lead Analyst, Digital Enablement reports to the Director Commercial Data and Digital Enablement and supports key front-end processes and applications within the Electrical Sector. The role will work with key stakeholders throughout the business to help define new enablement opportunities, with IT to develop requirements and ultimately train and support stakeholders on critical front-end applications.

The Lead Analyst will partner with IT and stakeholders to help define new enhancements, test, deploy and rollout enhancements across the organization. Additionally, this role will be responsible to drive adoption of the new capabilities by developing a deep relationship with the business and demonstrating the value of each capability an application will bring. Working closely with the analytics organization this role will be responsible for developing data driven analytics that will demonstrate application usage, areas of improvement / focus for business stakeholders to show how each business can optimize the capabilities. The Lead Analyst will interface with 3rd party vendors where required to deliver the necessary pieces of our digital vision.

In this function you will:

  • Firm understanding and ability to create, define and manage both staggard and flat hierarchies to support internal and external applications
  • Define and implement data governances polices to enable standardize application integrations
  • Experience with working with 3rd party applications / vendors
  • Issue management and resolution
  • Development / Capability prioritization for 3rd party software
  • Driving force to prioritize new capabilities which Eaton will require
  • Understanding of the application development process
  • Firm understanding of data flow architecture
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Responsible for daily MDM support activities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Understanding of good UI/UX
  • Detailed orientated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or IT discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without requiring company sponsorship.
  • No relocation is offered for this role. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Beachwood, OH or Moon Township, PA facility.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or IT discipline
  • Previous work experience in Master Data Management, Product management, application development and support
  • Experience with SAP, Vista, Global Vista, Oracle ERPs


Position Criteria:

  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated strong technical aptitude.
  • Ability to comprehend complex technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to work proficiently in Microsoft Office applications, Oracle Product Data Hub, Informatica P360, PL/SQL
  • Thorough understanding of the manufacturing process, from item creation to obsolescence
