As a Lead Analyst, Strategic Support, you will lead and execute strategy to cultivate and grow existing account relationships, working effectively with internal teams as well as external customers. We need you to build better tools to support creative customer solutions, more effective pricing, and efficient operations. You will work across multiple internal departments including Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure XPO is realizing the best opportunities.

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Collaborate with Customers and Sales (both local and national sales teams) to identify service requirements and pricing strategies for new and existing business opportunities
  • Evaluate electronic pricing resources to increase the speed of RFP responses and maximize margin
  • Partner with technology teams to prioritize enhancements when appropriate
  • Facilitate operational reporting for onboarding
  • Develop organizational and process strategy; initiate and maintain senior-level relationships directly with customers, internal operational teams, and LTL sales


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 4 years of experience supporting customers with operational and technical issues; including developing and leading project plans as well as status reporting
  • Ability to travel up to 50%


It'd be great if you also have:

  • LTL experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage difficult customer conversations.
  • Experience communicating business requirements that are the drivers of key results
  • Ability to build relationships and influence others
  • Ability to operate with minimal guidance and structure in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
