Knowledge Management & Content Analyst

Location: 20 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85012

Summary:

Advisor Group is seeking a Knowledge Management Content Analyst to assist in the development and maintenance of a knowledge management infrastructure allowing us to efficiently develop, capture and share best practices, policies, and procedures. The KM Analyst will be responsible for the maintenance of our knowledge management system. The selected candidate will also assist with the ongoing creation and maintenance of Advisor Group processes and procedures, reporting, and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce cohesive and modular Knowledge Management content to support the Advisor Group ecosystem, including both internal users and clients
    • Work with process owners to create and facilitate procedures that expand the knowledge and skillsets of employees, so they are better able to perform their jobs and serve our financial professionals
    • Writing and editing business process documents
    • Support the integration of information from functions throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers
    • Design and distribute documentation on technology systems, operational processes and procedures, essential skill programs, operational best practices, and corporate initiatives
    • Support the global KM process, solutions activities and change process
    • Maintain governance on the creation, implementation, archival of documentations
    • Share information with the organization about new functionalities, processes and guidelines, and provide content owner training
  • Administer and monitor usage of the Knowledge Management systems
    • Train and educate front-end users of the knowledge management tools
    • Develop reports to support operations and prepare presentations for senior management to support recommended changes and new initiatives or enhancements
    • Establish relationships with vendors to update content within our platforms
    • Create concise requirements to enhance current KM offering
    • Become proficient with the KM interface in order to post new material and create search parameters
    • Ensure active links between systems are created and maintained
  • All other duties as assigned



Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Information Management, Information Technology, Education or other related field.



Basic Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in knowledge management
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a matrix organization across geographies and divisions
  • Experience using a Learning Management System
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Experience with adult learning and training
  • Strong business writing and communication skills, a good eye for editing
  • Project design & learning methodologies knowledge
  • Exceptional presentation, consensus building, and people skills
  • Experience with the Knowledge Centered Service methodology - certification preferred
  • Experience performing analysis on client-facing operational functions
  • ADDIE, Rapid Development, Agile
  • Advanced ability using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Forms).



Preferred Requirements:

  • Video production a plus
  • Preference given to Articulate Storyline 360 and Camtasia development experience
  • Financial industry experience a plus (SIE designation, FINRA Series 7)
