THE ROLE

The Junior Demand Planner will join our Supply Chain team in our Playa Del Rey headquarters. The position will manage inventory and supplier performance across multiple product lines. The ideal candidate will bring an analytical skill set, attention to detail, an eye for continuous improvement, and strong communication and relationship building skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop SKU level forecast at multiple levels of aggregation: Product Group, Category, and by Fulfillment Center
- Track weekly and monthly forecast accuracy to identify contributing factors and make proper adjustments as needed
- Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile variances and refine the forecast model
- Continually improve forecasts by reviewing and understanding forecasting accuracy results tied to internal benchmark
- Develop ad-hoc reports that will be used by cross-functional teams to understand volume drivers and forecast variances
- In partnership with the Merchandising team, use promotion event post-audit data to analyze the effectiveness of promotions. Use the resulting insight to forecast the impact of future promotion events
- Coordinate with supply planners inventory strategies for existing and new products
- Identify opportunities to improve current processes and contribute to the development of new initiatives
- Coordinate promo updates and manage promo process to ensure SKU level lifts are included in the forecast on a monthly basis
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, or related field (preferably analytical/business related)
- 1+ years of work experience in analytically driven role, preferably Retail or Distribution, previous replenishment, buying, or supply planning experience is a plus
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment; someone who is self-directed, motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, and highly flexible
- Creative and analytical thinker who can manage multiple tasks and prioritize work within tight, concurrent deadlines
- Structured, process-oriented thinker with a desire to improve business processes, learn and navigate new systems
- Ability to fully utilize all Microsoft Office software at an expert level, including Excel (Pivot Tables, vlookups, advanced formulas)
- Ability to adapt quickly to an ever-evolving environment
- Ability to work 9:00AM-6:00PM PST
