Description:Build a lasting legacy as a Analysis Engineer with Lockheed Martin in Huntsville, Alabama!

Specific tasks within the focus on MDS Sensor Systems include:

- Develop, execute, and analyze high-fidelity models of sensors systems using MATLAB, including scheduling, signal processing, detection, tracking, and discrimination
- Perform simulation based end-to-end behavior and performance analysis of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) utilizing large-scale complex BMDS Modeling
and Simulation (M&S) tools, including developed models
- Document analysis results in reports and briefings to be presented to the Missile Defense National Team (MDNT) and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) representatives
- Provide RF domain subject matter expertise to the team

Basic Qualifications:
*To be considered for this position, DoD Secret Security
clearance (with most recent investigation within 5.5 years or less) with the ability to receive a TS*

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree
- Strong technical background in radar scheduling, signal processing, tracking, and discrimination
- Strong technical background in engineering, mathematics, or physics fields and proven experience in architecture, design, and development of complex models and
simulations in MATLAB
- Experience with algorithm analysis, algorithm development, and/or architecting radar models and simulations using MATLAB
- Must have ability and willingness to learn new physical and mathematical concepts
- Good written and verbal skills and comfortable working independently to develop and achieve customer goals
- Must be comfortable working independently and also leading technical teams
Desired Skills:
- Detailed knowledge of the AN/TPY-2, LRDR, SBX or digital AESA radars and capabilities
- Experience with Electronic Warfare (EW)
- Modeling and analysis experience in key elements of the Missile Defense System (e.g., Aegis Weapons Systems, Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD), Fire Control (FOM,
GFC), C2BMC, BMDS sensors (EO/IR/RF), kill vehicles, interceptors, countermeasures, counter-countermeasures, or threats)
- Experience in object oriented programming
- Experience developing production-quality MATLAB code as part of development team and with configuration management software such as SVN or Git
- Basic understanding of performance parameters, technical performance measures, methods and techniques definition, sensors, missiles, interceptors, detection/tracking, or
Command and Control (e.g., C3I, C4I, etc.)
- Knowledge of ballistic and advanced threat systems (e.g., aero-maneuvering, hypersonic, hyper-glide, countermeasures, etc.)
- Demonstrated team leadership experience
- Active DoD Top Secret Security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
