Description:MFC is seeking an Items Analyst for a position in Orlando, Florida supporting multiple Advanced Programs labs. Candidate will have daily interface with Advanced Programs Engineers, and other lab hardware custodians to support various lab operations. Candidate will be responsible for the following:

- Proper tracking and inventory of lab items
- Ensure thorough knowledge of inventory processes and procedures
- Close coordination with lab hardware custodians to ensure proper safety and inventory procedures are being followed
- Monitoring the efficient flow of hardware in and out of labs
- Performing frequent physical inventory and reconciliation of Engineering owned parts and tools
- Parts kitting - assembling and accounting for kits to be used by Engineers
- Tracking and inventorying lab equipment
- Managing overall cleanliness and organization of the lab spaces
- Creating/revising desktop procedures
- Supporting process improvement initiatives
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Desired Skills:
- Ability to work well within teaming environment
- Attention to details is paramount to compare results with multiple data sets
- Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills and the ability to effectively work within a diverse workforce
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project)
- Experience in supply support, stock control, defense industry
- Experience with software systems for the purposes of inventory management
- Individual must be a self-starter capable of effectively managing multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and be detailed oriented towards project management

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret
