Data Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Experience in working and delivering end-to-end projects independently
• Perform Business Analysis, Design, Data Modeling, Coding, Implementation and Testing of Applications using a wide range of Technologies
• Work in informatica IICS (cloud) and cloud technologies for data and application integration.
• Work on data warehouse domains like Snowflake using Informatica cloud connections.
• Loading the data to Snowflake using IICS -MCT and other Copy options and utilities. Optimizing the snowflake queries and cost reduction by following team processes and methodologies. Working on Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe to load/copy and unload the stage area and tables. Using the utilities like Time travel and cloning to create test environments/Replica environments for testing and QA validation.
• Work on the Snowflake Tasks, Streams to create and capture the automated CDC data pipelines.
• Writing Python scripts for deployment, data conversion and analysis.
• Using reporting tools like Power BI and Tableau for the deep granular analysis of data and drill down approach.
• Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources
• Analyze and fix defects occurring in the production environment.
• Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers
• Deliver major change requests (CR's) in the project.
• Perform database performance tuning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or developer or in a similar role
• 5+ years of Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Bachelor's degree or higher degree
• Experience in working and delivering end-to-end projects independently
• Build robust and scalable data integration (ETL) pipelines
• Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing (edited)
