Job Description
As a BI Reporting Platform Admin, you will be part of a fast-paced, cutting-edge Data and Analytics team. You will be tasked with supporting and growing our Enterprise Data Hub and Reporting platform. You will work to provide platform-level solutions to accommodate the growing data and reporting needs of our stakeholders across all business functions. We want you to be creative, enthusiastic and persistent, and above all, not afraid of trying and failing.
Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations:
Management of Tableau Reporting Environment
Maintenance of Tableau Servers
Support and continued development of sites, projects, groups, and users in Tableau
Testing and applying upgrades to Tableau on a regular basis
Troubleshooting issues related to data sources and connections
Assist in User License management
Support Integrations to Tableau, such as Jenkins, BitBucket, etc
Identify new tools and technologies to improve the data delivery and the data platform.
Production Support and issue resolution for our Tableau platform
You will work with Business/Data Relationship Managers and their users to identify and implement data delivery solutions based on business needs.
You will monitor and address performance issues that may span multiple platforms across the Data and Analytics environment.
You will enhance BI Analytics capabilities over time you will analyze data patterns and usage, provide recommendations, design and implement solutions
You will help facilitate analytical solutions for understanding data
Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills:
Experience working with Tableau Server (1 to 3 years)
Tableau Server Certified Associate or Server Certified Professional
Proficient in writing and evaluating SQL queries
Familiarity with CI/CD and related tools such as Jenkins
Understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology
Understanding of REST API concepts
Strong communication skills
Excellent SQL and strong hands-on scripting (Shell Script, Python) ability
Basic Requirements
Bachelors of Computer Science or equivalent experience plus 5+ years of Tableau support experience
OR Master's degree plus 3+ years of Tableau support experience
Vaccine Requirement
