IT Analyst and Scrum Master, Senior

As an IT analyst, you'll develop leading-edge products. Partnering with your team of developers and testers and leading user experience specialists, you'll identify clients' business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You'll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you'll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you'll deliver high business value products to our federal customers.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience working in a professional environment
  • 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
  • Experience with initiating, planning, scheduling, estimating, forecasting, coordinating, controlling, managing, and delivering IT projects
  • Experience with Agile processes and Scrum ceremonies, including managing and facilitating backlog refinement, sprint planning, mid-sprint reviews, sprint demos, and retrospectives
  • Experience with reviewing story analysis to determine conditions of satisfaction and the impact on other systems, projects, domains, and operational teams have been outlined
  • Experience with managing the evolution of the user story and backlog items, including breaking down the stories, eliciting conversations, and facilitating story refinement sessions
  • Knowledge of Software Development Agile Frameworks, including Scaled Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
  • Ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across workgroups
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience with project management
  • Experience with facilitating development and troubleshooting sessions with a team
  • Experience in working with teams to decentralize decision-making and acting as an escalation point when consensus decisions cannot be reached
  • Experience with requirements gathering, development of wireframes, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to collaborate with product owners, business partners, developers, and architects to build and define the product backlogs and complete release planning
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, issue resolution, and customer relationship management skills
