As a IP Security Analyst the Global Security Organization (GSO) at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible to help transform how Micron approaches Cyber and Information Security related to our vendors and their engagements.
You will work directly with corporate information security teams to advocate and coordinate global security initiatives within our vendor activities, define and implement new standards and policies, implement reporting to drive program governance and compliance. Engage with internal and external collaborators to collect input and advocate programs, develop communications and awareness training campaigns.
This role will coordinate efforts to drive goals and critical initiatives, lead the communications channels, business reviews, and champion a solid sense of culture driven security mentality across the business. Partner with Global Security and business leadership to build and implement Micron's overall Vendor IP Security strategy. In this, you will gain a broad perspective by working on a variety of information sources, control solutions, and dynamic business conditions across a global organization to analyze issues, make well-reasoned recommendations, and solve problems to protect and improve interpersonal value.
Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Gain and grow knowledge of GSO programs
  • Strong partner engagement within GSO and across the Micron network including Procurement, Manufacturing, TPG, Quality, Legal, and IT
  • Partner with Procurement on interaction with vendors related to program initiatives
  • Collaborate and conduct two-way interaction with GSO and business areas supporting roadmaps, strategies, and requirements from both perspectives. Bridge security goals and commitments with articulated business needs driving towards a common set of goals and objectives
  • Work with collaborators to define project plans including timelines and key work
  • Facilitate efficient and effective program and project execution
  • Coordinate leading and lagging metrics and to security problems, solutions, and business processes. Partner to enable a business facing dashboard support security strategies and needed efforts
  • Support the development & delivery of the programs' new capabilities, reports, and dashboards.
  • Publish and communicate program update reports
  • Facilitate IP Security benchmarking sessions with vendor counterparts
  • Participate in meetings with vendor executives
  • Lead training sessions with internal and external partners
  • Participate on global teams related to areas of focus
  • Continuously gain specific process knowledge


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience as a coordinator, vendor manager, process lead, business analyst or similar role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint Online
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Splunk is preferred
  • Creative and critical thinker with strong analytic skills
  • Good social skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Superb attention to detail and follow-through skills
  • Independent worker who can complete broad plans with little guidance
  • Must be able to understand and optimally communication vision and technical concepts in appropriate terminology at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to see solutions to their conclusion
  • Validated ability of leadership without authority in collaboration, driving consensus, connectivity, inspiration, and motivation in support of common goals, vision, and strategy.
  • Work closely with senior leadership globally to identify new opportunities and risks, solve issues proactively, and provide security advisory direction
  • Strong prioritization capabilities, with the skills for breaking down work into manageable parts, effectively assessing the priority and time required to complete each part
  • The ability to solve problems across group boundaries.
  • Vendor engagement experience preferred
  • Semiconductor industry experience preferred


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, management information systems, or related disciplines.
