Republic is looking to hire an analytical, scrappy, and proactive Investment Analyst to join our rapidly growing Investment Team. You’ll support the team on pipeline management, due diligence, and Investment Committee preparation. You’ll gain unique exposure to the U.S. start-up and VC investment ecosystem, while learning business skills invaluable to any high-growth company.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct preliminary screening of investment opportunities from cold inbound leads and referrals
• Review company pitch decks, due diligence questionnaire submissions, cap tables, financials, and conduct thorough public research
• Identify and remediate inconsistencies between company statements and due diligence documents
• Communicate with companies to gather information and clarify anticipated feedback from our Investment Committee 
• Present investment opportunities to our Investment Committee on a bi-weekly basis

• Strong communicator – You can communicate well both internally (with your Investment Team colleagues and other team leads) and externally (with clients and partners)
• Organizational superpowers – You can manage multiple workflows, maintain a tight control of your inbox, and know how to shepherd stakeholders through every stage of a deal
• Get it done attitude – You are scrappy, resourceful, and relentless, doing what needs to be done to drive success for your team and for the business
• Prior knowledge of regulation crowdfunding and prior experience in business development, sales, or investment at a start-up, fund, or in the tech ecosystem highly preferred, but not required
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, sales, consulting, tech, and/or PE/VC
