Job Description
As part of Risk Management and Compliance, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. The Risk Governance and Strategy Team supports the firm's Chief Risk Officer and Risk Management and Compliance CFO in running a world-class organization through sound governance practices and impactful content, disciplined project and solutions delivery, business management services and ongoing development of strategic initiatives. You will play an important role in the Intelligent Automation (IA) Center of Excellence (CoE), providing quick to market solution development, IA tool management, service management through adoption and enablement, and defining best practices under the Intelligent Solution (IS) Control Standard.
We are looking to hire a business intelligence developer with experience in the latest tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Pega, UiPath, Python), who can develop solutions, discover new automation ideas, drive citizen development, and consult on solution delivery.
You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop IA solutions using Alteryx with a focus on optimal solution design and solution hand-off to the business user for support and maintenance
  • Identify and drive new opportunities for process improvement within RM&C focusing on top-down analysis, tool usage, and use case feasibility
  • Partner with RM&C business partners as a trusted advisor, providing a best-in-class consulting and advisory service as it pertains to tool evaluation, adoption, training, on boarding, design, development, SDLC, adherence to the IS Control Standard, and production
  • Create service level agreements with senior stakeholders to secure resourcing and business commitments for citizen development
  • Demo and showcase new solutions, features, and tools within our IA toolkit
  • Democratize and promote Alteryx in the enterprise, demonstrating domain knowledge, enabling usage, communicating best practice, providing support, and evangelizing community engagement
  • Work in a hybrid environment (60% office / 40% remote) taking advantage of in-office collaboration while enjoying the flexibility to work remote.


Minimum Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Direct development experience with Alteryx and other IA tools
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate with both technology and business users
  • Ability to articulate technical and complex topics in a clear, concise manner to non-technical users
  • Comfortable presenting solution demos and walkthroughs to a large audience, handling live questions and challenges, and telling a story from business problem to solution proposal
  • Experience working with stakeholders and/or clients; managing relationships, demonstrating good time management, and influencing senior management


Additional Skills, Experience and Qualifications
The following additional items will be considered but are not required for this role.

  • Familiarity with agile and scrum
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
  • Experience with AI and ML use cases
  • Knowledge of Tableau, UiPath, Pega, Signavio, and other Intelligent Automation technologies
  • Knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python, R, and other programming languages
