Publishers Clearing House (PCH) is looking for a talented, highly motivated Insights Analyst to join our offline commerce team.  This role will be responsible for providing data analysis, delivering insights and making recommendations that surround key business questions. The focus will be primarily on optimizing sales/margin from existing offline customers, new paid buyer and optin growth. Specific areas of analysis include campaign tracking, performance analysis, test reads and strategic customer and program insights.  Additionally, this role will be working on first party customer data, 3rd party data appends, performance and monetization data to deliver insights that will answer business questions and drive success in reaching business goals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Extract large datasets from various data sources GCP/Hadoop/Mainframe
• Collect, clean, combine and transform raw data into large, complex analytical datasets by performing statistical techniques using big query/python programming
• Querying and programming in big query/python for statistical analysis and analytical reporting requirements to explore relationships and trends across large volumes of data
• Quality control of analysis and analytical reports
• Analyze KPIs relating to customer/campaign planning, performance and customer audience targeting to provide insight on opportunities to increase monetization 
• Conduct data-driven analysis and create reports; apply quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods for various ad-hoc requests from various teams to perform deep-dive analysis on the products, channels and business strategies
• Document solutions and present analysis with findings to business partners and management

Requirements:

• Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Economics, Finance or related quantitative field
• 1-3 years prior work experience in a related position
• SQL, Big Query, Python, SAS or other statistical programming experience a must
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Data visualization experience in excel and powerpoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively advocate technical solutions to marketing and business audiences
• Outstanding qualitative and statistical analysis skills
• Expert problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
• Ability to multitask and manage overlapping deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Dynamic multi-tasker who can manage day-to-day baseline marketing insights and analytics but can also accept opportunistic interruptions
• Operates efficiently in a dynamic environment and can switch focus based on company priorities
• A self-starter who delivers results
