The mission of our Information Security department is to provide operational oversight and technical expertise in support of the Information Security Program. This person will be responsible for providing the necessary monitoring, analysis and research to bolster the coverage and effectiveness of the security program. Strong collaboration among various teams is essential to advance this person and the security function. This person must be a motivated self-starter, with confidence and capability to establish processes, be able to occasionally respond to events during non-typical hours and focus on solving problems with a calm but thorough demeanor.

What does an Information Security Analyst II do?

  • Effective at monitoring multiple tools or applications used to provide awareness regarding potential information security events
  • Develop proficiency in the application and use of systems, tools, and processes within the department's scope
  • Develop proficiency in each of the business processes that drive security performance within the department’s scope
  • Develop a working knowledge of the security threats facing the company’s applications, infrastructure, and data
  • Develop understanding of and adhere to processes and procedures while maintaining the existing policies created by the business, clients, and information technology standards
  • Identify and track the completion of requests for action to appropriate teams
  • Develop and manage efficient processes to support the reporting and awareness of key security metrics, which are made available to affected teams and Intouch leadership

 

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience
  • Experience with various security, infrastructure, and enterprise applications
  • Experience with security programs to support advisory recommendations to their evolution
  • Experience in clearly communicating technical concepts to technical and non-technical individuals
  • Experience with data aggregation and reporting to senior leadership
  • Continual development of technical security skills and appropriate security education
  • Desirable certifications or experience with CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker, Azure Security Engineer, AWS Certified Security, Certified Information Security Auditor, PowerShell, Network Administrator, System Administrator, and Software Administrator
