Job Description
Supports GIS functions analyzing, researching, improving, defining, implementing, and executing info security controls and standards. Support team members performing specialized GIS functions. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data. May partner with internal and external stakeholders. Should have a basic understanding of common operating systems and security technologies.
Introductory role in GIS. Competent to work under supervision on simpler GIS security processes and events. Limited systems analysis responsibility. Assists in interpretation, evaluation and resolution of issues pertaining to accurate identification of security events. Limited knowledge of business or function for which technical support is needed. Responsible for resolving esponding toescalating routine, security events
Role Expectations:- Effectively utilizes operational and technical work procedures aligned to appropriate action
- Exercises learned judgment in the absence of established procedures
- Works under supervision, improving autonomy at work overtime
- Collaborates within team and across SOC functions for day-to-day service delivery and operational excellence
- Demonstrates job and SOC functions knowledge
Key Responsibilities:- Answer Infosafe Hotline
- Categorize and Respond Abuse submissions
- WorkAssign basic Infosafe submissions
- Assign Privacy Events to the appropriate Privacy teams
- Perform other Infosafe Tasks
- Monitor Olympic Queue (DIM AttestationsBlock Requests)
- Work escalations from Level 1 Analysts and escalate more complex issues to Senior SOC Analysts
- Ownership and sound decision making
Required Skills:
Must be a recent Road to Hire graduate- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational abilities and attention to detail
- The ability to think creatively to find solutions to complex problems
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a larger team
- A willingness to be challenged along with a strong appetite for learning.
- Working knowledge of common operation systems (Windows, etc.) and basic endpoint Security principles
- Basic understanding of networking systems, security vulnerabilities, exploits and attacks.
